On the day of the official test you are given a Test Admission Ticket with your own code printed on it, and you type that code in to begin.
This is your practice code. You do not need to type it. It is already here, so you know what to look for on the day.
Nothing you type here is sent to us.
What's your first name?
We only use it to say hello. It stays on this computer.
Practice Test
Check that the name below is yours before you go on. If it is not, choose No and type it again.
Are you: ?
Your name never leaves this browser. We only use it to say hello on the results screen.
How to move around the test
These are the buttons you will use. They stay in the same place on every question.
| Press Next to go to the next question. Press Back to go to the one before. You can change any answer, right up until you finish. | |
|---|---|
| Not sure about a question? Press Flag to mark it. Flagging does not change your answer. It just helps you find the question again later. | |
| The button at the top of the screen tells you where you are, like Question 3 of 14. Press it to see every question at once. You can see which ones you have answered, which you have flagged, and jump straight to any of them. |
Instructions
Please read these instructions carefully.
- You will not lose marks for a wrong answer, so answer every question you can, even if you have to guess.
- You can go back and change an answer at any time before you finish.
- Some words in a question are in bold. Read those words carefully: they tell you exactly what the question is asking for.
- You cannot use a calculator, a dictionary or any notes.
- You can make the words bigger with the zoom control at the top of the screen, and on a question with a text to read you can use the small arrows between the two panels to give either side the whole screen.
- When the time runs out, the test finishes on its own and your answers are kept.
