Year 12 HSC Physics
Master Modules 5–8 of HSC Physics — from projectile and circular motion to quantum and nuclear physics — with exam-focused teaching and past-paper practice in Blacktown.
What we cover
Aligned to the NSW NESA HSC Physics syllabus. We teach Modules 5–8 with an emphasis on derivations, graphing and the extended-response writing the HSC rewards.
Advanced Mechanics
Projectile motion, circular motion and gravitation — extending Year 11 dynamics into two dimensions and orbits.
Electromagnetism
Electromagnetic induction, motors and generators — the module that ties fields, force and current together.
The Nature of Light
Electromagnetic spectrum, special relativity and the wave–particle nature of light.
From the Universe to the Atom
Quantum theory, the standard model and nuclear physics — the structure of matter from stars to subatomic particles.
Taught by someone who's done it.

Meet the whole teamEvery class follows the same structure.
Based on cognitive science — it minimises load and builds durable understanding and exam confidence.
Class review
Rapid retrieval practice of past concepts — active recall to beat the forgetting curve.
Explicit instruction
Theory broken into the smallest parts, taught in simple, consistent language.
Guided practice
Worked examples together, tutor scaffolding fading as competence grows.
Independent practice
Exam-style questions with instant feedback, so errors are caught before they stick.
Exit test
A short end-of-class check on retention; targeted homework where needed.
Homework
Weekly consolidation that moves class learning into long-term memory.

Common questions
How do you prepare students for the long-response questions?
We practise structuring 6–9 mark responses against the NESA marking criteria — using the right verbs, showing working clearly, and linking evidence to the question.
What are the four modules in Year 12 HSC Physics?
Students study Advanced Mechanics, Electromagnetism, The Nature of Light, and From the Universe to the Atom. Together they cover classical mechanics, field theory, special relativity and quantum physics — the full breadth of the NSW HSC syllabus.
Do students need prior knowledge of quantum physics for Module 8?
No — Module 8 builds from first principles starting with the photoelectric effect. We teach the conceptual framework alongside the calculations so the material makes sense rather than feeling like abstract facts to memorise.
How big are the classes?
Classes are kept small — between 1 and 5 students — so every student gets personal attention and their questions actually get answered each lesson. Prefer one-on-one? Private 1:1 sessions are available on request.
Can I try a class before enrolling?
Yes. Your first trial class is completely free, with no payment details required. If it's not the right fit, there's no obligation.
Where are classes held?
In person at our Blacktown centre on Main Street — easily reached from Seven Hills, Quakers Hill, Woodcroft, Marayong, Kings Langley, Doonside, Lalor Park and Rooty Hill.
